When receiving a Tjugoen node and start it for the first time, you need to set it up with your password.

The Tjugoen nodes come pre-loaded with the Bitcoin blockchain so you don’t need to download the entire blockchain of over 600GB. With this process you will be up and running in a matter of minutes!

See the instructions and the video below on how to get started:

1. Boot the device.
2. Let it boot with the default settings, no need to press any buttons.
3. On the initial screen choose the “Recover” option.
4. Then choose “Use Existing Drive”.
5. In the next screen choose the hard drive. It should be only one available.
6. Finally, set your password, choose a minimum of 12 characters.
7. That’s it! Your new Bitcoin node will be ready after finalizing the setup and once you login to the interface the Bitcoin Core will start automatically to syncing any additional blocks.
